Halstead House is a full renovation of a late 1980s home in Caulfield North, originally built by the client’s grandparents. The approach was grounded in continuity, carefully retaining what mattered while reworking the home for a new generation. The layout was opened to improve flow, light and connection, allowing spaces to feel more intuitive and considered. A restrained material palette of timber and soft tonal finishes creates warmth and permanence, while the cathedral ceiling anchors the main living space, bringing gentle volume and drawing light deep into the plan.
